Career Day 2019 will take place on Thursday, March 14th from 9:30am – 12:00pm at Leota. We need over 60 panelists to make the day a success! Please consider participating in this rewarding community event.
Career Day is a PTSA event that offers our students insight into many different career paths. It gives them an opportunity to learn about what is needed to be successful in their career interests. But more importantly, it helps them understand that no career path is ever a straight line, and that within any career there are many different avenues they can follow.
As a speaker, you will be part of a 3-4 person panel that will meet 3-4 rounds of students. During each round, each panelist will have about 5 minutes to share their career journey, and students will then be given an opportunity to ask questions. The Q&A tends to be where panelists have a chance to share real life experiences and advice based on questions from the students.
Past speakers have raved about how engaged the students were and thought it was an incredible experience!

This will be our 5th year offering Career Day at Leota! But it can only happen with your help and support. Our goal is to have all panelists secured by the end of December.
